NAVAL LAHAT - Laser Homing Attack Munition

LAHAT is an advanced LAser Homing Attack Missile, exceptionally light weight, small size and high lethality missile for precision attack, developed & manufactured by IAI.

LAHAT is highly effective against a variety of target types, including ships, ground targets and Helicopters at ranges up to 8 km. LAHAT can hit static or moving targets, including moving helicopters with pinpoint accuracy.

Combined with an on-board targeting and laser designation system, or coordinated with laser designators on other platforms, LAHAT turns patrol ships into highly lethal platforms for the modern warfare arena.

LAHAT has two main operational modes:

•  Direct Designation - Target is laser designated by the launching platform.

•  Indirect Designation - Target is laser designated by other platform
