Nissim Hadas - IAI Executive Vice President & ELTA President

Mr. Nissim Hadas is the President of ELTA Systems Ltd., and Executive Vice President of IAI – Israeli Aerospace Industries, since 2006.
The president's position follows Mr. Hadas being the managing director of the IMINT & Radar Division in ELTA.
Mr. Hadas began working in ELTA in 1983 following his military service as an Electronic Engineer in the Israel Air Force.

Nissim has held several key positions throughout his career in ELTA.

As Head of the advanced Fire Control Radar Project, Mr. Hadas developed a flagship product in the upgrade market for combat aircrafts. This radar is installed on various types of aircraft and till this day serves as a centerpiece in Israel's upgrade market, yielding billions of dollars in sales. This Project won an excellence award for Israel Fiftieth Anniversary.

As VP Radar Directorate in ELTA (from 1994), Mr. Hadas initiated the development of unique Radar Technologies for naval reconnaissance, combat aircraft, helicopter and UAV simulation applications.

As Head of the Radar Directorate (from 1996), Mr. Hadas led unique developments that firmly established ELTA as Israel's National Radar House and one of the leading worldwide radar suppliers.

As Head of the IMINT & Radar Division ("MEIZAM" Division) in ELTA (from 2002), Mr. Hadas increased the Division's capabilities from handling sensors to system capabilities. His leadership resulted in the winning of Israel Defense Forces prestigious awards as well as to being recognized as a leading System House in Israel and abroad in the field of IMINT.

Mr. Hadas has been awarded several Appreciation Certificates and Awards throughout his years in ELTA, including the ELTA Cup presented to the IMINT & Radar Division for Excellence (2003) and The ELTA President Award for Special Contribution to ELTA's progress as a company (1991). Mr. Hadas is a worldwide expert on Radar Systems and is frequently invited to lecture at Professional Conferences all over the

Nissim Hadas, born in 1953, graduated with honors from the Technion in Haifa, Israel, with two B.Sc. degrees, one in Electrical Engineering and the second in Physics. Mr. Hadas earned a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, from the Technion in Haifa as well.

Nissim is married, has five children and sixteen grandchildren.
