Joseph Weiss, IAI's president and CEO

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) was awarded a contract by a foreign customer for supplying its Network Centric Warfare (NCW) communication system. The contract is worth about $20 million (USD).
This advanced solution has been developed and manufactured by IAI's MLM Division of the Systems, Missiles and Space Group, and will be implemented on a modern aerial platform.

IAI is a member of the prestigious but limited group of worldwide international industries able to develop and manufacture such an advanced cost-effective system.

IAI's system provides the customer with cross-platform interoperability and improved C4I capabilities, as well as connectivity among multi-player task forces.
NCW communication systems provide a significant force-multiplier to the operational capabilities of any modern armed forces, and are a key element in maintaining air superiority in a hostile environment.

Joseph Weiss, IAI's president and CEO said: "This contract reflects our customer's vote of confidence in IAI's system as well as our commitment to provide a highly-reliable and advanced solution. The system's unique advantages are the result of IAI's deep understanding of customer needs and we consider this achievement to reflect a strong partnership and mutual commitment to our customer",
