B767-200BDSF the choice for profitability The B767-200BDSF is superior to its predecessors. Its two fuel-efficient engines and its two-man crew reduce trip costs. The 767 has the lowest operating cost per trip of any wide body airplane and a common pilot type rating with B757. The wide body B767-200BDSF interlines with other wide body aircraft carrying 8-ft containers or pallets, and consequently requires no alteration in the size of the pallets or containers. Being a competitively-priced freighter, the B767-200BDSF becomes a leader in the class of medium and medium-to-long haul freighters. The B767 family consists of over 800 aircraft, which translates into a well-established infrastructure and high availability of economic spare parts, experienced technical crews and aircrews. Bedek Aviation Group launched its conversion programs for the B767-200 in Nov. of 2001, with the receipt of a launch order from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) and Airborne Express (ABX) to convert aircraft from passenger to Special Freighter configuration. The first delivery of B767-200BDSF was at the beginning of 2004 (to ABX), followed by 25 767-200BDSF converted in Israel and in Brazil, which are currently flying for ABX, TAMPA, and Star Air. Other aircraft are presently under conversion. Assembling the door and surround structure on a special tool ensures quality, weight saving, parts commonality (doors etc.), reduced aircraft ground time, and an assured, robust product. The B767-200BDSF conversion requires a 100-calendar-day cycle, and Bedek has parallel conversion lines in Israel and in Brazil. Combining C or D checks while converting the aircraft generates significant savings, and enables our customers to minimize costs and downtime, maximizing airtime. B767-200 Conversion Overview and Features: Removal of all passenger-related interior items and associated wiring (i.e. seats, galleys, etc.). Reconfiguration of lavatory, galley and water system. Deactivation of all pax doors except door #1. Replacement of all floor beams in sections 43, 46, and part of section 41 to allow running load of 85lb/in. Reinforcement of longitudinal floor beams in section 4 to meet running load of 120lb/in. Installation of the main cargo door with opening of 134" x 102". The door is positioned between sta. 492 and sta.632 and electrically-powered with manual drive as backup. Installation of seat tracks and floor fittings to accommodate five different ULD configurations. Installation of 9g cargo net with quick disconnects to allow access to the main compartment. Reconfiguration of systems and interior of the main deck to class E compartment in compliance with FAR 25.857. Installation of three supernumerary business class seats. Installation of honeycomb side panels and ceiling.

Choice of 9G Rigid Barrier or Net For B767-300ER the Rigid Barrier configuration carries 24 ULDs (as close as possible to the B767-300F original freighter), while for B767-300 the 9G Net configuration allows carriage of 23 ULDs on the main deck (optimizing the payload volume/weight ratio) - your choice depends on the type of available aircraft and on the desired profile of operation. The 767-200BDSF is a"flexible" freighter carrying cargo in the Main Deck in five standard configurations. There are two versions for the 767-200BDSF: The basic 19 pallet positions with a 9g Net The Increased Volume (with some payload penalty) - 20 positions with 9g Rigid Barrier, which will be developed upon customer request.
