The Bedek Aviation Group of IAI is a complete aircraft C-modification support center, internationally approved as a ”One-Stop” commercial and military service center. Bedek provides maintenance, repair and overhaul of airframes, engines and components

In addition, Bedek performs modifications, upgrades and conversions on a variety of aircraft, under one roof

Services are provided for: 

• C130 and B707 special mission aircraft.
• Logistics and ground support for operational squadrons are offered.
• Services range from overall maintenance to structural life extension modifications and fire protection systems.

Aircraft and Programs Divisions

The C-130 C-experience includes:

• More than 150 A/C/PDM’s
• Total maintenance services
• O/H of engines & components
• After crash repairs
• Upgrading of avionic systems
• C-130E to C-130H conversions
• C-130 Conversion to aerial refueling tankers
• Installation of aerial fuel receiving system
• Conversion programs to SIGINT Configuration

In the course of the PDM, additional inspections are carried out, such as:

• Minor Inspections Parts D1-D4
• Special Inspections as Directed
• Time-Expired Component Change
• A work package is prepared for each aircraft and is related to total flight hours and calendar time

The B-707  experience and capabilities include:

• Heavy maintenance (D checks) and aging programs
• O/H of engines & components
• Upgrading of avionic systems
• Conversion to aerial refueling tankers
• Conversion from pax to cargo configuration
• Conversion to VIP configuration
• Conversion to AEW; SIGINT; ELINT configuration

Re-Engining

• Bedek in cooperation with the engine manufacturers can offera comprehensive re-engining program, based on either the
  JT8D-219 or the CFM 56-2 engines
• In both cases the customer will benefit from:
• New, advanced stage 3 engines
• Lower SFC
• Improved performance (mission range, time on station, fuel offload, etc.)
• Improved maintainability & reliability
• Enhanced supportability
• Environmental friendly (much lower noise and emissions)
• Lower life cycle costs
