Relay
Combining two terminals into a relay station for extending communication range.
The Air Data Relay (ADR) combines two Air Terminals and the Ground Data Relay (GDR) combines two Ground Terminals.
Data Terminal Configuration
The standard basic configuration of each data terminal includes:
- Antenna (Omni or Directional)
- Transceiver (with synthesized L.O.) and Power Supply
- Front-End (Rx Filter/Preamplifier and Tx Power Amplifier)
Optional additional features :
- Spread Spectrum modem for protected communications
- Video compression / decompression unit for transmitting and receiving video
- Digital data modem for transceiving digital data
- Data encryption module for data security
