The POP 300 is an advanced Electro-Optical (EO) payload fully qualified for air, ground and marine application.
POP is a gyro stabilized dual sensor single LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) payload. It is modular, lightweight and compact, having an attractive price performance ratio.
POP is a day and night observation system with high quality thermal imager (inSb FPA FLIR) and color TV. Installed on unmanned platforms (UAV's, RPV's robotic vehicles).
POP is operated via a data-link from a remote ground station. In case of manned platforms (helicopters, vessels, vehicles) an on-board single observer, using a specially designed Hand Control Grip (HCG) and video monitor operates the POP.
The COTS (Commercial Of The Shelf) product, has the same pitch-over-yaw gyro stabilized observation mechanism that incorporates the same continuous zoom (x45) color day camera and FLIR. The FLIR channels in the product has the same Automatic Video Tracker (AVT) for fixed and moving target tracking during day and night time.
