CTI, the Centro de Tecnologia da Informação Renato Archer and Kryptus (both in Campinas, Brazil), Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and LeadSpotting (in Israel), implemented a cyber intelligence gathering solution for the Rio 2016 Olympic Committee.
This integrated Cyber Threat Intelligence solution supports the security organization and improves identification of cyber threats during the Rio Olympic Games, thereby helping the organizers, law enforcement and intelligence agencies to detect and mitigate potential cyber-attacks and forming riots. The solution combines the best of breed Israeli and Brazilian technologies for Web intelligence gathering and intelligence know-how, with a deep understanding of cyber operations.
All four companies recently finalized a process of integrating Brazilian and Israeli Cyber technologies to enable the Olympics Committee operating the system in very efficient manner.
“We are proud to take part in securing the Olympic games in Brazil”, said Esti Peshin, director of cyber programs at IAI. “This cooperation between Israeli and Brazilian companies helps secure the Games and assists in identifying potential threats. We hope that this initial cyber solution will lead to further productive cooperation between all parties”.
