The Head of State’s aircraft took off on Sunday, November 3rd, at 10:45. IAI’s Test Pilots checked in the air basic aircraft systems and found normal results. The aircraft landed after four flight hours. This flight was the first from a planning serial test flights that will be held at later stages by IAI’s Aviation Group.
The aircraft’s configuration and technology reflect the exceptional skills of IAI Aviation Group’s workers, who converted a used passenger aircraft to different configurations such as air refueling tanker, mission aircraft, and cargo (P2F) airplanes as part of the Aviation Group’s Business Line. Based on mission requirements of the Head of State aircraft, IAI Aviation Group integrated sophisticated systems design, manufacture, and assembly.
The aircraft can fly non-stop to China and Japan in the East or to USA and Brazil in the West. Aircraft is installed with the most updated secured various communication systems which will allow the Head of State to continue routine work with his team in Israel and foreigner nations’ leaders.
Aviation Group was founded earlier this year as part of IAI’s new strategy, and world leader on design, develop, converting and certify aircraft. Aviation Group performed hundreds of different conversions. Some of IAI’s customers include the world’s largest shipping corporations, such as DHL, UPS and Amazon.
