ADTS provides advanced post-training analysis and debriefing capabilities, presenting realistic displays through a user-friendly interface and enabling exercise monitoring and debriefing for both air defence and air platform units.
OVERVIEW
ADTS is the next-generation live, virtual, and constructive air defence training system, offering a complete solution for air defence crews to train against live aircraft and helicopters while integrating embedded virtual targets. The system is a dedicated, network-centric, integrated instrumentation training system that allows forces to use their real weapon systems in conjunction with aircraft and helicopters. Based on a distributed network, all participating units have an ACMI network and a broadband network that gathers, distributes, and shares live and simulated information.
Coordinated Live Training
ADTS enables coordinated training for various air defence categories, supporting crew and pilot training in live exercise engagements against live and embedded virtual targets. The main component, the Instrumented Weapon Module (IWM), collects and distributes relevant information on a dedicated network, ensuring accurate and realistic training.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Maximizes the cost effectiveness of live training.
- Provides effective and interoperable training and debriefing.
- Provides high-fidelity simulation for air defence battery and air platform weapon deployment and flight training in a hostile environment with live and virtual participants (battery and air platforms).
- Provides a realistic tactical environment for training on the real weapon system, including target acquisition, designation, missile simulation, EW and real-time scoring notification.
- Provides full interoperability with de-facto NATO standard RAIDS-EPR-EHUD ACMI datalinks.
- Provides enhanced debriefing and enables reconstruction of all the air defence and air situation picture including flight, audio and video data and “what-if” simulation tools.
- Allows individual training, crew training, multiple fire unit training for the air defence battery and the pilots.
- Allows full scale training of air defence batteries, in advanced scenarios, using high fidelity virtual air targets, with no need for live aircraft participation.
Values & Benefits
- Tactical flight training in hostile environments, including live, virtual, and electronic warfare threats
- Realistic tactical engagement training with target acquisition, ECM/ECCM, and advanced virtual targets
- Real-time monitoring ground stations for exercise planning and post-debriefing
