OVERVIEW
The Arrow 2 interceptor is part of the Arrow Weapon System (AWS), the world’s first operational, national, stand-alone Anti-Tactical Ballistic Missile (ATBM) defence system. Based on the uniquely effective Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 interceptors, the Arrow modular air defence system detects, tracks, intercepts, and destroys incoming Tactical Ballistic Missiles (TBMs) carrying a range of warheads over a large footprint—protecting strategic assets, armed forces, and population centers.

The Arrow 2 interceptor is designed to operate both within the atmosphere and in space, providing endo- and exo-atmospheric interception capabilities. The Arrow Anti-Ballistic Missile defence System is fully operational and has a combat-proven success rate. It has successfully intercepted and destroyed dozens of incoming ballistic missile threats during the “Iron Swords” War (2023–2024), protecting Israel’s skies, armed forces, and population.
