OVERVIEW
BlueDome™ is a Blue-Force Tracking (BFT) system for the tactical identification of dismounted blue forces. It is designed to rapidly identify friendly forces in the battlefield, improving combat efficiency and minimizing fratricide. The system operates independently of any other communication or navigation system, ensuring high reliability and immunity to jamming, misuse, or interception. Using a lightweight transponder worn by each soldier and an eye-safe coded laser interrogator integrated into various platforms—such as binoculars, ground vehicles, helicopters, or Laser Range Finder (LRF) systems—BlueDome promptly and reliably identifies friendly forces and their locations, enhancing situational awareness in complex combat environments.

BlueDome operates autonomously, without relying on radio communications or other navigation devices that could expose troop positions to hostile entities. This independence ensures operational security while maintaining effective coordination and identification capabilities.
