OVERVIEW
LAHAV Aero-Structures has extensive experience with aerospace composite materials, products and technologies, including the development of lower cost out of autoclave manufacturing processes such as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) and Liquid Resin Infusion (LRI).
Investments in R&D enable the use of new and innovative technologies at the cutting edge. In addition to internally funded programs, IAI is heavily involved in international R&D programs. These programs have resulted in the improvement of IAI capabilities in areas such as structural bonding, RTM and LRI.
LAHAV also has enhanced manufacturing processes such as ply cutting, ply lay-up (ATL, AFP), autoclave control and automated computer controlled ultrasonic and x-ray non-destructive testing.
