OVERVIEW
The ELE-1220 counter-mine and IED suite offers a comprehensive set of breaching capabilities through a modular suite of mine-clearance tools. These include:
- A range of mine ploughs (PMP, EMP,TWMP, FWMP)
- Route clearance rollers (RCR)
- Surface mine clearing systems (SMCS)
- Mine trawls
For magnetic-fused mines, the optional AMMAD Mk2 electromagnetic actuation system creates controlled magnetic signatures that safely trigger mines ahead of the vehicle, neutralizing threats before they reach the kill zone. This system functions without interfering with onboard electronics and provides a non-contact layer of protection to the breaching package.
