The NC² SATCOM Network Terminal is part of ELTA’s operationally proven range of naval communication solutions, with decades of successful operational service.
OVERVIEW
The NC² SATCOM Network Terminal (ELK-1882T) provides submarines with secure and reliable Beyond-Line-Of-Sight (BLOS) voice, video and data communications in point-to-point or network configurations, using geostationary or LEO satellites and operating in the Ku band with either a high-gain parabolic antenna or an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) antenna implementing electronic beam steering.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Reliable transmission and reception of bidirectional voice, video and data
- Supports simultaneous, large scale, multiuser network
- High spectral efficiency techniques using unique CDMA algorithms
- State of the art Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology using sophisticated Forward Error Correction (FEC) algorithms
- Complies with ITU-R 524-9 spectral density regulation for small antennas using Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technology
Values & Benefits
The NC² SATCOM Network System is offered either with a high-gain parabolic antenna, or with an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) antenna implementing electronic beam steering, using geostationary or LEO satellites and operating in the Ku band.
The innovative antennas adhere to reduced SWaP (Size Weight and Power) and can be installed within the submarine’s optronic mast, thereby optimizing stealth for covert operations.
The antennas are housed in a compact radome that can withstand high underwater pressure.
