By performing cross-queuing between passive and active sensors, the MS-MMR significantly improves overall performance, ensuring superior situational awareness and system effectiveness across diverse operational scenarios.
OVERVIEW
ELTA’s MMR (ELM-2084) is a mobile S-Band radar featuring an advanced 4D Active Electronically Steered Array (AESA) for Air defence, Surveillance, and Artillery Weapon Location (WLR) missions. As the radar sensor for the “Iron Dome,” “David’s Sling,” and “Barak” systems, the MMR is operational and combat-proven in Israel and provides advanced air defence capabilities to numerous countries worldwide.
HIGHLIGHTS
- High Quality Recognized Air Picture (RAP)
- Improved classification, identification and target discrimination
- Enhanced survivability and redundancy
- Support of Kill Chain and Kill Assessment
- Extended self-protection capabilities
- Robust and modular solution for dynamic scenarios and missions
Values & Benefits
The extended Multi-Sensor Multi-Mission Radar (MS-MMR) version integrates both active and passive sensors, delivering a higher-quality Air Situation Picture (ASP) and improved weapon support under target-saturated, background clutter, and severe environmental conditions.
The MS-MMR operates as a single-platform system using a multi-band, multi-spectral sensor suite that includes an additional higher-band radar, IFF, SIGINT, EO/IR, and Launch Detection Sensors (LDS), providing enhanced detection, classification, identification, and tracking of all aerial threats.
