OVERVIEW
LVC is an advanced integrated autonomous training system with unique capabilities of the live EHUD AACMI (Autonomous Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation Training System) family-based program derivatives, including a Helicopter Training and Safety System (HTS), a Naval Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (NCMI) System, and an Air Defense Training System (ADTS).
HIGHLIGHTS
- Maximizes the cost effectiveness of live training
- Provides effective training and common debriefing
- High fidelity air-air and air-ground weapon simulation, and tactical flight training in a hostile environment with live, virtual electronic warfare (EW) threats and ground simulators connected
- Realistic tactical engagement training for fighters and helicopters including missile simulations, scoring, and effects
- Real-time hit and miss assessments
- Enhanced network enables secure LVC and safety capabilities including air and ground collision-avoidance and ‘watch-dog’ on airspace and platform restrictions
- Common debriefing and reconstruction of flight data, with synchronization or audio and video data
Values & Benefits
The 5th generation EHUD AACMI pod with a new set of features that utilize advanced and modern technologies such as new data link (DL) communications, improved security, encryption, and embedded simulations is a technology enabler for LVC (Live Virtual Constructive) training and provides a significant leap in the performance of modern joint training capabilities for air, ground and naval forces.
The use of on-board systems enhances the effectiveness of live training, reduces expenses and helps increase operators’ familiarity with the systems. MLM provides an integrated solution that combines live, virtual & constructive capabilities, designed to optimize the balance between live and virtual (simulator) training. MLM provides secure safe and high-quality training while significantly reducing training costs.
EHUD enables smooth transition into the LVC (Live Virtual Constructive) world, due to advanced infrastructure that supports embedded constructive entities and simulation sensors). The infrastructure also interconnects with flight and mission simulators and integrate joint scenarios. The EHUD family is complemented by advanced mobile and fixed ground stations and a complete range of support equipment.
