MegaPOP is designed for land applications such as marine or land border control, surveillance of sensitive facilities, or other operational missions requiring especially lengthy surveillance performance and high-definition vision capabilities. The system simultaneously records video output from thermal, color daylight HD, and HD SWIR channels, with continuous zoom providing high-quality output even under challenging visual conditions. Its exceptionally long range of surveillance is augmented by multispectral capabilities.
MegaPOP offers an extraordinary range of sensors used together with a laser range-finder. Additional features include digital tracking, specialized image processing, and other methods of data processing that automate surveillance capabilities. A built-in gyro stabilizing system ensures stable imaging under all environmental conditions, while magnetic-independent, highly accurate northing assists in managing target datum points.
Advanced digital interfaces allow simplified control, including operation from remote control posts. MegaPOP supports operational work that involves additional sensors such as ELINT, COMINT, and more, enabling integrated management of complex surveillance operations.
