OVERVIEW
In the modern naval battlefield, Naval forces must project power and national sovereignty. To fulfill this purpose, Naval Forces must be able to defend themselves against aggression and deter hostilities in peacetime and at wartime. Naval Forces must be ready to face any threat, from an oceanwide superpower to non-state terror actors and piracy lurking in remote littorals. Electro-Optical Solutions are critical for Naval Forces and Special Operations, to obtain high-quality, immediate intelligence in real-time, for fast and effective detection of threats and target acquisition, and aiming of weapon systems in the challenging Naval Battlefield.

The Sea MiniPOP is an 8-inch payload for day/night observation missions built for maritime applications. The system is designed to meet the harsh environmental conditions such as shock, vibration from waves, and extreme temperatures. The MiniPOP provides real-time imaging, automatic video tracking, and precise target geo-location capabilities that can be used as a stand-alone EO/IR observation system on small or medium-sized vessels or as a part of Naval RCWS.
The Sea MiniPOP is a dual-axis, gyro-stabilized payload designed as a single Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) carrying up to four sensors and based on an open architecture.
The basic configuration includes a continuous zoom color day camera and a thermal imaging camera. A laser pointer, eye-safe laser range finder and an automatic tracker can be incorporated for enhanced capabilities and functionality.
The Sea MiniPOP can be easily connected and integrated into any C4I or be operated with IAI’s control system. The Sea MiniPOP is ITAR-Free and can be tailor-made to any Customer’s specific operational requirements.
