OVERVIEW
The IAI ELTA RobDozer (ELA-6641) is an autonomous, armored combat engineering vehicle designed to clear paths, remove obstacles, and perform critical battlefield engineering tasks. Its autonomy allows operations in high-risk environments, minimizing threats to personnel and ensuring continuous effectiveness under fire, making it a vital asset for modern military operations.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Open paths within rough terrain
- Removing large or suspicious obstacles (IED)
- Various of engineering missions using different manipulators
Values & Benefits
RobDozer can be equipped with additional manipulators to enhance its effectiveness across a range of engineering tasks. These include constructing defences, erecting barriers, digging out positions, and building embankments—each essential for shaping the battlefield to strategic advantage.
The defensive capabilities of the armored bulldozer make it a formidable combat engineering vehicle. With 15 tons of armor, it can withstand bullets, rocket-propelled grenades, grenade launchers, booby traps, and explosive devices, allowing it to push earth and rubble, build fortifications, or demolish enemy structures while shielding personnel inside.
The armored operator cabin provides high visibility while offering protection for the operator. Its armor suite safeguards the engine, fuel and oil tanks, and hydraulic and electrical systems. Optional slat armor further enhances protection, ensuring the operator is shielded from small arms fire, RPG attacks, and other battlefield hazards.
Integrating RobDozer into military engineering units boosts their capability to rapidly alter landscapes for defensive or offensive operations. By automating hazardous tasks, it enhances personnel safety, accelerates operational pace, and ensures secure environments for advanced defence systems, including missile interceptor platforms, to perform effectively.
