A central highlight at IDEB 2026 is IAI’s air and missile defense portfolio, including the Barak MX system, advanced air defense radars, and 3D Capture short-range air defense capabilities. IAI recently delivered the Barak MX air defense system to the Slovakian Air Force under an accelerated program that also included training and transfer of operational expertise. Alongside this, IAI is showcasing additional solutions designed to support layered defense against today’s fast-evolving aerial threats.

IAI’s portfolio at IDEB 2026 also includes advanced offensive and ISR capabilities such as the Mini Harpy loitering munition, the Heron MK II UAS, the Scorpius-G electronic warfare system, and the OptSAR 550 observation satellite. These solutions are designed to provide forces with persistent intelligence, deep surveillance, electronic superiority, and precision engagement options across a broad range of operational scenarios. The Heron MK II is particularly timely, with reporting in April 2026 that the Israeli Air Force is expanding a new UAV squadron based on the platform following lessons from deep-strike operations and increased wartime demand.
