OVERVIEW
TacSense (ELI-8395) is a compact, lightweight, integrated COMINT and ELINT sensor system configured for use on a wide range of small air (sUAS, tactical aerostat), land (ATV, LAV) and sea (OPV) platforms, on fixed ground-based defense installations, or carried by infantry (manpack).
HIGHLIGHTS
- Compact, lightweight, integrated COMINT and ELINT sensor system
- Provides a clear Situational Awareness Picture (SAP)
- Real-time monitoring of SIGINT signals
Values & Benefits
TacSense detects, accurately geo-locates, and tracks radio-emitting threats such as communications systems and radars. It provides a clear Situational Awareness Picture (SAP) to support territorial spectrum dominance. With its built-in COMINT capabilities, voice and other communication transmissions are monitored, while its ELINT functionality detects, analyzes and classifies radar emissions. TacSense fuses the ELINT and COMINT data, enhancing its ability to perform target tracking, classification and identification.
The fused data is displayed on an operator’s workstation and the customer’s C2 network, providing decision-makers with real-time intelligence information to support taking effective action. The data is also recorded for post-mission analysis.
TacSense is a force multiplier when integrated with other field assets such as Air Defense and ISR radars, Sniper systems and other long-range weapons, Self-Protection radars and Search & Rescue systems.
Based on mature and field-proven ELTA systems, the compact sensors have been optimized to comply with reduced size, weight and power (SWaP) requirements. They can be deployed as separate COMINT and ELINT systems or as a single integrated system, and are housed in a specially designed enclosure configured to each platform type.
