On February 28th 2026, Israel launched Operation Roaring Lion – a coordinated military campaign targeting Iran’s strategic nuclear and ballistic missile infrastructure. Conducted in close partnership with the United States Armed Forces, the operation reflected a unified commitment to countering a shared and evolving threat.
Built on years of intelligence preparation, force development, and technological advancement, Operation Roaring Lion integrated Israeli and U.S. offensive capabilities, multilayered air and missile defence systems and space assets, and highly trained joint forces operating across domains. The campaign demonstrated the strength of allied interoperability, precision strike capabilities, and real-time operational coordination.
Operation Roaring Lion underscored the strategic depth of the U.S-Israel defence partnership and the combined resolve to neutralize destabilizing capabilities while maintaining regional security and deterrence.
